News for 3 June 2023

The last week was very busy filled with our fortnightly Needlecrafters meeting, our monthly Breakfast meeting, and our Special Event of the National Gallery Tour. I am not sure how we had time to sleep!

If you look further down this edition of the Newsletter you will see some special pictures of some exhibits from two of our ladies in the Cayman Art Week. They are stunning entries. If any other ladies made entries and I didn't know and therefore failed to bring your work to our members attention, then I am sorry. Please inform me next time and I will do my best to let our members know.

I have heard many people tell me that we need rain but this week we seem to have had quite a lot of it! No doubt not enough but at least we are on our way. A storm has already been brewing as well, so the time of year has arrived when we need to be vigilant!

Having said that it is not going to stop us having our fun!

This week we have our bowling group to look forward to. Don't forget it is on a 'first come, first served basis' as spaces are limited. Please press the RSVP button in your Newsletter or email ilcgrandcayman@gmail.com so that we know how many ladies to expect.

We still do not have a venue for our June Happy Hour which will take place on Friday June 30th 6.00 pm till 8.00 pm. If you think you may make a great host, then get in touch with me. All you need to provide is a venue, a table and paper plates. The ILC has plastic glasses which are collected by me and washed by me, so you don't even need to wash them up! If you can't do June but could do a different month, then let me know when you could do and we can pencil that in the diary!

Please find the full newsletter here with more information and photos of recents events.
