News for 29th October 2023

I trust that you are all having a fantastic weekend after a great week of fun activities.

We had the usual events of Mahjong and Pickleball to keep us occupied this week, but we also had our Book Club and our Happy Hour, so it was quite a busy week. I hope that you are all trying out the new things that are being arranged for us. If you are, your feedback would be greatly appreciated so that we know if the events are being enjoyed, and we would also like to know how they can be improved upon.

During the coming week we have our Needlecrafters meeting on Wednesday Afternoon and our AGM on Thursday Morning. Please RSVP for both events.

I will leave the details of our AGM and Christmas Lunch as both are very important events in our yearly calendar. Please put both dates into your diary and RSVP and let us know that you are coming. We would love to have a great turnout to both events.

I want to draw your attention to the AGM which is advertised in this Newsletter. This is going to be held at Jasmine and will take place during the time of our normal scheduled November Breakfast on November 2nd at 9.30 am. We will need to ask for a contribution of $10 per person towards the cost of the hire of the venue and Breakfast. We would love as many of you ladies to attend as possible. Without your input we don't know how we are doing or what you would like from your club so please do attend.

Also, we are starting to plan the Christmas Lunch. This will take place on Thursday 14th December. This is a week earlier than our normal Lunches and it will mean that we will not be holding our usual Bowling Group in December. Please put this date change in your diaries too! We felt that by the 21st of December many ladies may have left the island or be too busy with other commitments to attend our Lunch.

I hope to see you at an event soon. Please read through the entire newsletter to get all the details on upcoming events.
