And Happy Weekend. I hope that you are al busy doing something fun.
The weather is hotting up in time for the Long Weekend. What are your plans for that?
Last week was quite a busy week for us again. We had our Special Event held at The Edgy Veg. We made two cocktails which were delicious and also, we were provided with some dips. Christina, who was the lady helping us make the cocktails was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a wonderful evening.
We had our Monthly Lunch last Thursday at Tukkas and the turnout was fantastic. From what I could make out there was a lot of chatter across the tables, and no one was in a hurry to go home. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. There was a lovely breeze coming from the ocean.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel our Needlecrafters meeting this week so when our next meeting is scheduled, we will all have lots to talk about. If you would like to come along to learn a new hobby, please just push the RSVP button!
Next week as well as the usual weekly events we will be holding our Book Club meeting on Thursday afternoon at Fresh. We are a very friendly group so if you think you would like to get involved then please turn up. If you haven't read this month's book never mind, just turn up anyway. It is always good to have new members.
Please be aware that there will be no Mahjong on Friday 29th March and no Canasta on Monday 1st April. Both days are National Holidays and Fresh will be closed.
